These are some new blocks that just came back from getting stabilized at K&G.
The wood is Golden Amboyna Burl. It is a different variation of Amboyna from the Red burl that we normally see. The tree is in the same family. The locals call this variation Maidou Burl. Beautiful golden amber coloring, very good burl figure and a nice metallic luster.
I have posted about a dozen so far and am posting the rest as I type this post.
