I am a basic member and it IS a paid upgrade and we CAN send PM's (we can't sell on the exchange, but we can trade). And WE TOO help to support this site. Just want to clarify that we may be second class citizens, but we are still dues paying members.

thank you for your generosity. I went from registered member to basic member to gold, because I'm really thankful to this subforum and the way ours mods handle it, giving us the opportunity to share our friendship and fill the porch :)
I do not own any of the knives, but I will leave them to other members.
