Excellent tweener size for the camper, or perhaps large skinner given the nice belly on it. He runs Elmax at 60hrc, and the thickness is 0.19". So, this is a nice slab of Elmax, but he ground it very nicely for a variety of uses.
I have never used this one, but it does have a minor scratch on the blade, I believe it's from the sheath. I've captured it the best I can in a close up photo. I could try to "polish it out", but that's best left to the buyer, IMO. The handle on this thing is a dream, it literally melts into your hand in any grip I have used. I have two other knives from him, and anyone who has purchased from Jacob will attest to the quality of his products.
