well not to long ago i was so excited to have found what i thought was a Martindale No2 Golok from brigade quatermaster for like 6.99.....i was sadened to find out i had just bought the sheath....i didnt read the description correctly...BUT alas after some searching and begging i have gotten my grubby paws on one....and get this...it has a kydex sheath...yeah i know....the guy i got the golok from made it...oh and here is the kicker...it came with a pal....a becker bk9 mint condition....oh how sweet it is.....
i had the golok in my hands for like ten minutes before i went inot the back yard and went to work on those pesky tree limbs....i chopped until i was ready for a cold beer...(like 5 minutes)...i was impressed with the balance of the piece and with a better edge i am sure i could make more firewood...factory edge is pretty weak....but it is a lot better now.....spyder sticks are wonderful too.
