Goncz Hi-Tech flashlights

I've got two here and I'm checking them out. They are really really bright, but not as focused as the surefires in these samples - but these are pre-pro samples. I'll tell you how the production ones look soon. Pictures soon too. :D
 
The Goncz guy pretty much pissed off CandlePowerForums members - I guess that he couldn't back up his statements with products that worked. Perhaps he got himself involved with CPF before his products were ready - he certainly took a lot of fire.

If his products are a reality now then may be they should be given a chance to shine?

TigerLight played CPF just perfect so it can be done!

The poor guy got pretty much in trouble on CPF last year when he and his lights showed up - besides overstated specs it mostly was his rude behaviour causing the trouble - the consensus on CPF which is a flashaholic BB so normally all and everything related to flashlights is highly wellcome - I think in the end he got banned - I think he even was the single only guy ever got banned on CPF - sad story though.

Do a search on CPF for Goncz and you will be surprised

Caustic personality or not, I'd buy his lights in a second if'n they came anywhere near matching his specs. 600 lumens out of the M-7? 450 lumens out of the M-3, a 3x123A light??? Surefire could only figure out how to get 225 lumens out of 3x123A, and then only for 20 minutes! And all for $65, no less!

Call me a nay-sayer, but I don't see Goncz's lights touching those specs, which was the reason for the original blow-up on CPF. Interested in seeing how close he comes, though.

Thanks for the responses. The info you responded with has been invaluable. I have a Tiger Light and I think I will stay with it. There were too many problems with posts regarding this line all around both here and on candlepowerforums. Thanks!!
 
We just had follow ups on CPF regarding people who wasted their money

After all this month NOTHING HAPPENED. As a flashlight freak I'm getting very sad about that. I can't understand that kind of attitude. Make your own judgement, but I feel ripped off. I think I will place a warning on my site...

I was suggesting that your products should be given a second chance. I was suggesting that what occurred on CPF was not characteristic of your products as they are now.

I purchased an UltraStinger and a TigerLight. I am looking to get a MagCharger too and I am interested in a range of brands.
I would like to read reviews of your products as they are now, hopefully from users who did not experience what happened on CPF.

On my desk is one of my trusty Stealthlites!
Yes, that's how it all started.

I tend to use the Princeton Tec Rage (4AAA) [gift from Princeton Tec at SS2003] more then my Stealthlites though.

You seem to be insulting another member’s intelligence and I am not sure if English is your first language, but your spelling is terrible. I suggest you look into buying a dictionary.
