Up for sale is a bit of an oddity; Long discontinued, this Kershaw Zing is made of black G-10 slabs and a 14C28N Sandvik steel blade. This is one of the original, USA-Made, manual flipper (non-assisted) Zings. RJ Martin design, model no. 1735. This one was manufactured in March 2009.

Lockup is early and tight, no blade play in any direction that I can find. Original factory edge, has not been sharpened or touched up.

3D machined (scalloped) blade. When closed the blade leans off center to the presentation side but does not rub. Original paperwork included. The fit, finish, and action of these were perhaps a bit rough by today's standards; no ball bearing pivots in this bad boy, this is one of the flippers from back when flippers were pretty new. But all in all, this knife is in excellent condition for an 8 year old knife. Really a cool little piece, unfortunately I just have too many knives and I need this one to go to someone who will appreciate it more than I do, maybe put it to some actual use.

Interestingly, when I purchased this knife the vendor did not have the correct box. They sold it to me in a Kershaw OD-1 (1775) box (likely a mix up, they probably sold the OD-1 in the Zing box ; ). I'll include the OD-1 box with the knife and paperwork.

Asking $Traded shipped (Paypal G&S only; fees and priority mail shipping included). U.S. shipping only, no international buyers (sorry).

First "I'll take it" followed by PM gets it (but I do reserve the right to sell to anyone). Feel free to PM me with any questions.

Thanks for looking!
