Jason,
Nyeti is right on !
Great time. There were alot of different angles and approaches by different instructors. Ernie's was High Speed, Low Drag
and really addressed the issue of Immediate
Primal Reactions. Remember there's really three F's (no not those !) not two like some advocate. Flight, Fight or Freeze. He gave a High Intensity seminar that was right on !
Nyeti was great to work with and as I experimented with differnt BJJ techniques he helped me dispell some of the false realities
w/ a committed attacker. He's strong and has some big elbows that are very effective when placed w/ pressure at one's throat when grappling.
We discovered some cool stuff that will work
and discarded the stuff that does'nt. Sounds familiar does'nt it !
Most of the stuff was FMA specifically Guro Suite, Leo Gajie and Inosanto/La Coste influenced. Pekiti Tersia offered an excellent new defense and counter to a tough thrusting line that probably has the best potential I've seen to date.
Great time, Good BUDO, and great spirit !
IMHO
