I recently received a 707-701. Since it's slightly thicker (about 2x 0.5mm) than the regular 707 i'm not going to use it (i've heard that most LE of the 707 have thicker scales - unfortunately after I bought it - I've never read that anywhere before...). It could be interesting for people that prefer thicker handles like the ones on the 705.
It looks like it has never been used - the sharpening job is quite good for the out-of-the-box-BM-sharpening jobs (i've shaved some arm hair and the hair flew off);
the anodization is not perfect (there are a a few ''borders'' where the color gets slightly darker from one part to the other - but they are hard to see and that would be within the limits of BMs machining - it's definitely no wear) and there is minimal blade play (less than +/- 0.5mm at the tip) - you should be able to find a sweet spot for your pivot with some oil and a Torx-10.
The blade is centered and is hitting the back spacer (as many other 707s - but it's pretty sturdy plastic and you'd only need another sharp knife to remove the part of the spacer that gets in the way).
So - it's up for trade, but I'm actually only interested in these knives; i may be open to adjustments of these trades - just tell me how much you'd ask in addition to the -701.
-701 + 20 EUR/$30 (?) for NIB to very lightly used 710-1 (m390, knifeworks exclusive, satin or dlc; satin would be my 1st choice)
-701 for 710D2 + cash (something like 40..50 EUR depending on condition?)
-701 for NIB 707-600 (D2, wooden inlays)
-701 for NIB to lightly used titanium BM940 (reversed tanto)
-701 + cash (how much?) for small sebenza 21/classic
I'd prefer to keep this inside of the european union but i'm open to overseas trades as well.
