I know gonna regret selling this but I don't carry this enough anymore so I'm putting it up for sale. This is one of the really early zaans as they were put out in 2008 and this one has A08 date codes on both scales. There are no documents, birth card or pivot tools as those were gone before I got this. I have never used the magnacut blade that was fitted by CRK that is on it right now but I carried and used it with the old blade before I got the new blade. The old blade is all scratched up (not by me) but works just fine and is still pretty sharp. The old blade had the tip touched up a bit but it's still very pointy. The action is great and it can be flicked like a well broken in zaan. The lanyard is the original lanyard. J2H told me that they will be doing a run of the zaan pivot tools at some point in the future but IDK when. I have just used my thumb to adjust the pivot or take it apart when needed to clean it and enever had a problem with it backing out. Normal scuffs on the pivot. I put on fresh o-rings on the original blade a few weeks ago. Action is great and centering looks good. Comes in a CRK cardboard box with the spare blade, the spare washers and the knife in a nylon case. No allen wrench or cloth as those vanished into the void years ago.

You can get the original blade retumbled to get rid of the scratches. Never thought of that when I sent it in for a new blade.
