Hi Folks.
I am offering up my Koster CPM-3V Bushmaster for trade towards the following:
This one is the one-and-only Bushmaster Dan made with his newest burgundy canvas Micarta (BurgCM) material. I think this handle material comes to just the right shade of brown for me and works well as a synthetic wood substitute for a hard-impact outdoor blade. It also has black liners, brass hardware, and a Curvy-style JRE sheath. I initially rubbed it down with Obenauf's LP and snapped this pic:

Then, I treated the sheath is a mixture of beeswax & Obenaufs LP, as is my routine, to harden it enough to allow the knife to snap-in and make the leather more cut resistant. I took it along on 1 canoe trip, but it only saw 2 days of belt time and cut perhaps 1-2 pieces of rope. The sheath got a little scuffed from the canoe, but this is the only use it has seen. It is also darker now after the LP / wax treatment. Please email me for additional pics.
Again, this knife if still in excellent condition and the sheath, with my wax treatment, is akin to having the look and feel of leather with the cut resistance of kydex (in my opinion). The only reason Im selling it is that I havent been able to shake the feeling that Id really like this one to have been make with thinner stock (IMHO, there is no need for 3/16" thickness when you have steel this tough, but for you hard users out there, you might want this extra girth).
Thanks.
