Im looking for a good folding knife. Preferably plain blade, around $100 bucks (Less is ok too :)). I've looked into the griptillian and some other similar ones. Any suggestions? Thanks!

You should try the Kershaw Skyline. I'm more of a Para 2 guy so I was hesitant to get one for a long long time then finally I did - now I cant leave it alone. Blue is nice...

Spyderco para military 2 will tap that budget but is an amazing knife. Kershaw blur in S30v will run around 70$ and is also a great knife.

Like everyone else said para 2 is the way to go. I can't seem to keep it out of my pocket even with new knives arriving frequently.

Benchmade Griptilian, Kershaw Skyline, Paramilitary 2- any of these in any flavor are really good knives for EDC.

I recently got a Benchmade Mini Hardtail in D2. Love the knife, love the size. Shop around and play your odds. You should be able to get any of these knives for around your budget.

Sometimes helps if you state your use. i.e. work, EDC, outdoors. US made/offshore preference. What is your main use for the knife.

It will be EDC. With some outdoors applications. US made is always a plus.

sage 1 if you look around you can get it for 110 shipped... i have 1 one the way

I personally recommend a Delica 4 or Spyderco Cricket. I carry them both and they work like a dream. The Mini Griptillian is a great pick as well, got one in blue for my recent birthday and been testing it for a few days. So far, only have good things to say about it. That's my 2 cents, hope you find one you like!

How about a SAK and save yourself $75?

Or what do you mean by " folder"?

Griptilian.
EDC comfort
Not scary-looking
Made in USA
Great company with pretty good reputation, if not great reputation
I have used mine HARD and it wants more. (no, I didnt throw it, baton with it, chop with it, or pry with it. Literally I mean lots of hard cutting with lots 'o pressure)
I cleared a trail with it. 2-3 inch trees being cut down. Whittling into the trees while bending them. Needed alot of force.
Still works perfectly as the day I bought it.
No play
Almost perfectly centered blade
Easy to clean
Not crazily priced either

Or this. The Griptilian is an excellent knife, but pricey to some people.
If you aren't going to be using it wicked hard, a SAK will hold up for a long time. Especially the Alox ones.

ZDP 189 Delica FFG and Benchmade 530 are both good, but there's this knife that a lot of people don't know about called the paramilitary 2 from Spyderco. Check it out if you want to be different...
