Good ambi drop-in upgrade for Cold Steel's asymmetric thumbstuds?

I really like it when a knife has identical right-hand and left-hand ergonomics. So, for example, my FRCP Manix 2 is my favorite Spyderco, with my favorite Spyderco lockbacks as nearly tied runners-up.

Now, applying this theory to my CS Voyager and Recon 1, I really like the smooth end of CS's asymmetric thumbstud. In practice, therefore, my hands would vastly prefer a thumbstud design which was functionally identical or superior to that larger, smooth side on both sides.

I'm looking at the knifekits.com "Universal Design - Large (Dual)" and a few others. Note that it's identical feel on both sides I'm looking for, not necessarily identical looks. For example, if the Cold Steel studs were designed with what is now the flat-head end replaced with a and the same size as the large end, I'd consider them functionally perfect.
