Good Belt ?

It's really really hard to beat the Wilderness belts unless you want leather
I have bought a few different brands(5.11 and Blackhawk) but the Wilderness original with the 5 stitch option is way better. Its $45 and custom sized not small med and large.

Another great thing about wilderness is when they wear out you just send them in for tune ups. (New Velcro, etc.)

If you want leather, Rick Garcia on these Forums makes THE best leather belt I have ever owned....horsehide outside, laminated to steerhide....solid, reasonably priced and I have yet to wear one out, after 5 years of wearing every day.

I'm with Kohai. Rick Garcia/Rayban here on the forums make an awesome belt. He will make it to your specs exactly.

Are leather belts really that good? I've honestly been soured by them after all my use of them prior to my Liger Gun Belt, but upon reflection, they were all Chinese POS belts. I also happen to do a lot of heavy lifting in my day job, and the "correct" lifting position and my generous belly tends to strain all parts of the belt(typically separating the buckle from the leather or completely ripping the slot hole wide open).

Because I figure if I go leather like I do most else(Briefcase, Wallet, Boots, watch strap), I might go for a belt from Saddleback Leather:thumbup:.

Army Surplus store, they are inexpensive, and you can use a cheap leather punch to make it smaller if needed but many in the military have 29" waists. One piece of leather, not bonded are the ones I've been buying.

I have a decent size belly.....Rick delivers the goods......leather belts....get you one!

Another vote for the Wilderness belts
I have the titanium buckled 1.5" "5stitch"
Perfect stiffness for me, and very comfortable, even with heavy loads hanging from my waist (i carry a pair of Canon camera on my belt using Spiderholsters - one is about 4lbs and the other is around 3 (just guessing, might be a bit heavier - 2x 1DX, 70-200 f2.8, 16-35 f2.8 and 600EX flashes)
Along with all my other EDC stuff

I decided to go ahead and buy two of the Saddleback Leather tow belts. Chestnut for me(I like the dark red color), and dark coffee brown for dad:thumbup:.

I'll see how it holds up at work.

How much do they charge you for that though?.
Bigger question is:
Who pays for shipping?

In my experience, velcro and nylon together tend to end with a LOT of frayed nylon.

Some guys were close but none got it exactly right.

You need a 5 Stitch Frequent Flyer belt from The Wilderness. If I'm not wearing a coat and tie it is the belt I'm wearing.

I'm sure their Instructor Belt is good but unless you are doing some work that might involve rappeling it is a waste.

The FF gives you the tactical benefits without the tactical look.

Available in good colors and good widths.

It is simply unbeatable.

Don't hesitate.
