Good books?

The Forager's harvest is the A number 1 book for identifying wild edibles! i've read quite a few. Tom brown's book is in black & white. No good. The Peterson's guide is ok, but a lot of the photos are region specific so when i look at a plant & know what it is, in my region it looks nothing like the photos in the book. TFH has great pics as well as specific ways to prepare different plants. You won't be disappointed with it. On the other hand, peterson's field manual of medicinal plants is a great medicinal guide. Check it out!
BTW, Les Stroud's book sucked. Dave Canterbury's book sucked, watch the dvd & you've read the book. I didn't read any of Bear Grills' books. I might get Cody lundin's book but I doubt it. Ray Mears & Mors Korchansky's books rocked! SAS survival guide was good, but stressed a few kit items unavailable to the common citizen. I was pretty disappointed with all the Tom Brown books I read. I have a bushcraft book that's ok but can't remember the author, I'll check when I'm at home. I'm tryin' to read Mike Hawk's book but it's the longest survival guide I've ever seen & as I read it, I keep hearin' his whispery voice read it to me. Kinda creepy...
