good camp/hunting knife?

I'm looking to buy a new knife(let's face it,who here isnt).I want a good all-round hunting/camp knife.my budget is around $50 us,which is about $100 au.I was looking at the buck 119 as a hunting knife and the kabar heavy bowie as a camp knife.
which of these 2 would you buy?

What about the Ka Bar Becker BK2 Campanion? Its retails for around $55 and its 1/4" thick. Will baton through anything.

I have the Becker BK-2 Campanion and the Buck 119 Special that have been mentioned so far. Both are solid knives and should serve you well. The Becker is quite beefy @ .25" (6.3mm) thick and will handle anything you dish at it. The 119 is more svelte and is a proven classic. The BK-2 is a carbon steel with a black coating while the 119 is a stainless steel.

I have been looking at getting another knife though that has piqued my interest. It is the Boker Plus Anchorage Pro Skinner. It is smaller and lighter which is what I am looking for. Check it out.

Next Gen KaBar is superb.

When RAT Cutlery was made by Ontario there QC left something to be desired, they are hot right now, yay for them, sounds like QC has gone up since they went in house.

I bet my money on Becker, Ka-Bar, Himalayan Imports, TOPS and Entrek none of them are really Q worthy on the high fashion scale but for working folks on a budget, none can be beat. Just my .02.

If your going to think custom talk to Bill Siegle or Fiddleback both make great and greatly affordable knives.

woo-hoo i'm lucky today.my grandfather just gave me his hunting knife he's had for 30 years,so now i'm just going to buy the kabar heavy bowie as a camp knife.
