Good Cheap Sharpener

Jeff I have used aluminum oxide stones and have not found them to work as well as silicon carbide. Does Norton just make a really great one? Have you tried the Sears stones, and if so what do you think of them?
 
I like the Sears stones too, as they were something like $6 for a 2x7 inch stone. I bought three so that I can grind them against one another to keep them flat, and then use them to keep my other Arkansas stones flat. I use an old badly dished Norton stone for stuff like axes and breaking the edges on the other stones. I've been able to pick up a couple of 2x6 inch Arkansas stones on sale for less than $10.
