good chop saw?

I run a rigid too, it's probably cut something like 1000 pieces of 1.5 round stock, and a bunch of other stuff, when it gets hot though, I have to give it a break as I think the brushes might be wearing out, it looses power when it's hot. The good news is, brushes are cheap and available, I'm just too lazy to get 'em. buy good cutting discs, they're worth the extra $2

Well I ended up getting the cheapo one at HF. I'm going to bring it back. They had two others, a Makita and the other step up store brand but they didn't have either one in stock. The cheapo will cut 1/4" fine but anything larger is just to much. I did stop at Home Depot first and I really liked the Rigid but I couldn't resist the half mile further to HF. Funny I knew when I left I wouldn't be happy with the saw.

Ive had a HF chop saw for 5 years or so, it was the heavier of the ones they had, I belive its 1HP, Its taken a beating, and does everything I need it to!
I do buy the higher end blades though.

God Bless
Mike
