This morning it was 6 below with 25 m.p.h wind here in the Texas panhandle. It's warmed up to a balmy 10. Chopped alot of ice and fed animal. Time to clean my rifle.

I'm in a mess over here in Nova Scotia,we got pounded by snow/high winds -30 with the wind chill,if that horse was here in the yard, you wouldn't see his legs thats for sure.LOL.

The wood stove is pumping some serious heat now, which is a good thing.I might just get a few knives and sit back by the stove and have at em'LOL...HONEY DO LIST SAYS SHARPEN KITCHEN KNIVES.Guess i'll do those first.

Frost for sure, but clear and no snow, neither new or old. With the sun out, it is actually warm when you aren't in the shade and you don't feel the faint breeze. Not too bad, I'd say.

Oh, I touched up my blades a couple days ago, so I'll go out and catch some sunlight while I can.

I had my truck running for about 1.5 hours to get some of the ice off of it. That's not snow on the drive...all ice.

It rained yestday so we only have about 4 inches of snow left and it was 42 degrees this morning on the way in which felt like summer. Its been dropping all day and will get down in the teens tomorrow. Had to work all day:( so could only look at knives.

Tom, my boss has horses and his kid who works here also said, nice horse in your avatar.

Tom, It looks just like that at our place, same temps. too . Roads closed and schools . I went coyote hunting and nothing was moving . So, I sharpened the wife's kitchen knives . I'm ready for some global warming . DM

Looks like a good day to do anything inside...

I hope you and DM thaw out. We have been lucky so far. Usually we have at least a foot or more on the ground this time of year. We have had snow and ice here this winter, but there isn't any right now, and I hope it stays that way

Our mercury rests at -5* this morning . Our power went off at 7pm last night and was not restored until 3am . How would you like those guys job ? Sun is shining but it will take days to make it above freezing . I think were out of the woods . DM

Hey skyhorse. Very nice pics. I see you're in NM. Me too, I'm just a bit north of Albuquerque, near the foothills of the Sandias. It was -11 F here this morning. I agree, it's a good day for a little Buck TLC. Just need to warm up the hands a bit... :p

Take care, stay warm.
