in my line of work, i wear a full three peice suit on a daily basis, mostly Black and Blue Pinstripe. I work at the Magic castle In Hollywood california, an exclusive Magicians only club. i perform a number of different tricks involving knives and i am an avid EDC'er so i was wondering, any tips on which dressy, non aggressive looking knife i should go for, out of the following, which should i choose?

the contenders are...

Benchmade 480 shoki

Spyderco Etched SS Dragonfly

Spyderco Kopa (any ideas on handle materials?)

Which one would you go with?

Cheers!

the Kershaw Nakamura is most often mentioned in comparison with the Shoki. A Boker in Damascus? Boker’s LEO Damascus probably puts it out of your $200 price range, their cheaper ones look nice but I don’t know if I trust the steel. My avatar is a Kershaw Zing that I re-scaled in variegated cocobolo very nice looking knife. Spyderco makes some very nice looking smaller knives that you could have re-scaled and have a semi-custom for under $200.

If you like Japanese Style You Might Check out Mcusta knives. The have Folded Steel Damascus knives with VG-10 cores and hamaguri line. Check out the "Gentlemans series". But they are all super classy and are (IMHO) as "Elegant" as you can get. Still being non threatening looking. and you have a S*** Load to choose from that ALL Fit your criteria. Here- http://www.mcustaknives.com/CATALOG.html

I still say check out a Mcusta-http://www.mcustaknives.com/CATALOG.html

Super Elegant- Sub $200 and a lot of 2.9 inchers.+ a LOT to choose from.

Almar might have some nice offerings with your specs also.

If My main Goal was Sub 3, I'd go for an Emerson Mini CQC-7 in satin. But as far as Elegant, beauty is in the eye of the beholder I guess.
