Good encyclopedic/coffee table books covering daggers and military knives?

There are definitely some good books mentioned, and could all be left on a coffee table. They are mire reference books.

Coffee table books are usually very large. And lots of pictures.

Lots of good ones about guns and lots of good ones about historical arms/armor.

Knives, pocket knives, bayonets, etc? Not much.

I can't suggest any titles, but you might widen your search to include auction and museum catalogues (many can be informative by giving lengthy descriptions of items and their provenances). Museums often produce well photographed catogues of particular exhibits with lots of interpretation in the pages.

Good luck and consider sharing your bibliography with us!

Just a few recommendations. I have a few of these books and could show you some pages if you would like before you invest in them. Some are very pricey, which is why I don’t have several. I have 2 copies of
US military knives and that’s in machetes books III by MH Cole, which I am hoping to trade for some other books or whatever.
