Hi All,

I just wanted to put this out there as a Heads up for anyone else that would potentially think of doing business for me. In my professional and personal experience I have come across individuals that use shady tactics for negotiations.

One thing I do not condone nor will I ever allow is a person that makes a good faith offer, and then attempts to negotiate the price or offer down. Once an offer has been made and has been accepted, it is a binding agreement, at least by definition and in business law to the best of my knowledge, written or verbal offers.

If an individual another individual on this forum attempts this practice with me, I will no longer do business with the individual no matter the price point or offer. The rationale behind treatment of this kind, however harsh it may seem is as follows:

Once an offer is made, and the individual seller accepts, attempts to change the agreement shows the character of the individual and the follow through as well. I hope you all agree with me on this point.

As a result of the above, I will no longer be transacting with certain individuals. You know who you are!!

Seems like a reasonable way to deal with someone who lies.

Damn right! I run into this kind of crap from time to time and always break off the sale. I will not conduct business with someone who either doesn't understand or doesn't care about ethics.

Oh well, shit happens, but dude should have known better!! He totally F-ed himself in my eyes.

Should be common sense/decency, but as many of the "Bad/Ugly" threads here in the Feedback forum will attest, some people sorely lack one or both of those things. Like Bastid said, seems like a reasonable approach to me as well.
