Good Filet Knife?

Less than 50 bucks?
The Schrade Steelhead!
I've had mine for years, like it alot.
Nice flex to the blade, decent steel, easy to sharpen.
Kinda pretty in a Delrin sort of way ;)

A search for Victorinox and that model number turned up this dealer page in the UK: http://stratfords.com/Knives/knives_Victorinox_fibrox_handles.html The knife in question is the 7th one from the top (20 cm version).

If you Google "Victorinox" and "fillet," however, you turn up a lot of options here in the States. They're not terribly expensive.

I kind of like the looks of that Shrade. In a Delrin kind of way.

I am a chef and have a Global filleting knife. It is the sharpest knife I have and I only use it for filleting fish. Perhaps not as pretty as the ones mentioned, but very functional.

There is no sheath of course, but you could make one, or have one made.
