Good First Benchmade?

^^ in that photo, it looks like the top two knives have different blade designs... the second from the top has a lot more "belly" or a longer grind... is one newer than the other? Or is it just a visual trick...?

they offer different blade styles, pick the one you like and go for it!

1 & 3 Are regular Mini-grips

2 & 5 Are Ritter Mini-Grips (S30V)

4 is a regular Mini-Grip with the thumb hole and sheep foot-style blade.

I'd sold so many of my non-Spydercos lately I had the urge to get a nice B/M so,

I do not own a lot of knives, but I used to have a small classic sebenza and I got rid of it because it did not grow on me. I liked the blade shape and the sturdiness of it, but did not like the BG42 steel (used on that time), the handle was not comfortable to hold and it was hard to sharpen. I felt it was way overpriced knive for what I got.

I am the guy who appreciates quality and value in what I own, but not the type who collects most rare for a cost. I like a things which service its owner in the time of his/her need, and the knives in my opinion should be the ones.

I own two Bokers Plus and believe its the best buy in its class. Its low profile and little weight are great for carry-on. Preferred the drop point model. Recently I got two small BM grippers. One 556 and one 558 model and from the first day my Ritter Griptilian is on my side.
I love this little knife. Its the best knife I ever owned in my life. The best EDC knife to buy if you do not want to spent unnecessary amount of money.
Its always with me either inside of my pants or the Maxpedition Fatboy pack...
Good luck with any of your choices.

My advice: go to knifeworks.com, search BM550HG, add to cart.. Select 2day shipping... ENJOY!
