Good First knife design

Hey guys...well I got my grinder mounted....got my order of various grit belts...got steel...now I have been throwing around ideas and drawings for a simple first knife to attempt. Any suggestions?

Make a hunter? The Loveless drop-point hunter is always a decent place to start.

I too began with a Loveless. Can't go wrong if you take your time. One real nice thing about that first one is you don't have any pressure to catch up on backed up knife orders, so time is on your side. Here is my first: http://riflestocks.tripod.com/pics.html

yah I think I'll go with that one first. Gona try it without Bolsters to begin with though as I really wanna try to keep it simple.now to try and draw it from a picture in the proper scale
