+1 on the para-military...definately not deep carry and you are limited to right hand tip down carry. I normally go tip up but this knife works quite well, after I got used to the tip down. It leaves just enough handle exposed to get your fingers on. The lock up is top notch and blade is a wicked good slicer.
it depends on what you wanna use it for. Personnaly I say spend a bit more and get a civilian, nothing says bad ass like a serrated hawk bill blade (you seriously cant stuff any more blade in to a handle like that!). Then again I use my knifes for different things then you do probally... For general use, I say get a spyderco police.
Delica 4! Emerson opener for fast draw if you want it; you can still open normally with spydie hole if you chose, in case you ever find yourself on your back trying to open it.....
Endura, and Military are good too. I'm aiming to get a military by the end of the year....
I REALLY dig my UK Pen knife. It is perfect. ....such a simple knife. A thing of beauty. Honestly it has chased my Sebenza and SnG right outta my pocket! Just being made in the US of A sucked me in, and I'm glad it did! Next up I'll be giving Benchmade another shot, but I see a Military in my future!
If you want a really nice tip up carry Spyderco, that carries fairly deep you should consider upping your price range and going for the SuperHawk. The lock is compression which IMO is the best, the handles peel ply carbon fiber. Has an great feel in hand. Mine wasn't much more than your budget (135.50) because I won it off eBay. (brand new from a dealer!) I doubt you'd ever get one that cheap there again. But if you like it you may want to save a bit longer and get it. Here's a picture showing clip side along with the excellent D-2 Para and the great all stainless ATR.
