Try the LT wright great plainsman in d2.

If you have a few tools, this one from Jantz Supply, pattern 21, comes in 440, D2, and damascus. It has 3 1/8" blade, 5/32 thick. Mine is in D2 and has excellent edge retention. Janez sells various types pre-cut handle material.
