Cany anybody tell me a good fixed blade preferably und 100 bucks? My mom asked me what I want for my birthday and I asked if I can get a fixed blade knife she said maybe. My mom didn't give me a price range so I am assuming under a 100 bucks. Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

Kabar Becker BK-16 off the top of my head or perhaps an ESEE 4 even though I personally am not that fond of them. A cheap option is a Mora Companion.

Something big.... Condor Moonshiner.

How big do you want the blade and what use do you have in mind?

I need a little bit more info. How big, what are you planning on doing with it ? Leather or kydex sheath. There is a Spyderco Ronin II for self defense Spyderco Street Beat for EDC. Steel Will has quite a few in different sizes, uses and price points. Great knives I have a few folding and a few fixed and they are all great. I have about 5 fixed not including my Steel Wills but they are all over $100. Watch this vid from Blade HQ

The blade would be used as my camping, survival, or edc. I don't like Bowie or tanto shaped blade.

An ESEE 4 is going well over $100 at Knifecenter at the moment. It sounds like your mum wasn't all that enthusiastic. Maybe try for a smaller blade to start with, something like an Izula or Izula II. The Izzie 2 is a great little knife! Fabulous handle, and it will take on tasks bigger than you think.

how much blade length were you looking for? There are decent fixed blades from 3” to 10” available for under $100!

13 posts and no one had suggested the knife makers exchange here at Bladeforum. You get a custom made blade and start a relationship with one of our talented makers. 100 bucks will get you a nice knife if you do a little looking on here.

Something I enjoy doing is occasionally visiting the big online retailers and clicking on "Whats New" and spending a few minutes looking at whats come out in the past month .

good idea about checking out the custom/handmade section. its true you can occasionally get a great deal there.

I hadn't checked pricing in a while. A stout 4" knife would work for you for general purposes.
One of the Mora or Condor models.
There are quite a few models of varying sizes made by Condor that should work nicely for you. The Low Drag knife might work (kind of choppy). But there are a lot of models of varying sizes.

The Buck 192 might be to your liking. A lot depends on your concept of the kind and size of knife you would like to carry at this time.

+1 on checking out a knife maker here on the forum. But those are admittedly hard to find and grabbed up quickly in my experience at this price point. Never hurts to search tho.

I think my Gerber Strongarm is a solid knife with a surprisingly good sheath. $60ish
Ontario Knife Co has several options. SP2, Rat series, RD 6, etc
Becker/Kabar as mentioned above. I like the BK10 thumb ramp myself.

I hate to say it; but camping, survival, and EDC are 3 different knives. I suppose one could merge camping and survival, likely losing some great choices...and leaving EDC separate.
I haven't checked prices recently; but the LT Wright Patriot is a nice little knife. It's a great size for EDC, generally non-threatening, and relatively inexpensive (when I bought mine, wood or bone handled versions were under $100). Another solid EDC option is the Bradford Guardian 3. It's a bit over your limit; but the N690 version is on sale (and frequently hits the exchange at $100).
I was looking at this one last night

nice knife; but you'd have to decide on what you were using it for. The thin blade stock should excel at cutting/slicing; but it isn't a knife I would choose for batoning or chopping.
duckchildress makes some nice stuff at right around $100.
An Enzo trapper can be purchased in kit form for under $100.
Kellam Wolverine.
Spyderco Mule *low price does not include scales or sheath...but you could do a cord wrap and simple sheath, and upgrade over time.
