I have a wiseman sodbuster that I have beat on and abused for a while. It developed some blade play a few months ago, and it turned into some wiggle that I was not ok with.
I contacted Gene about it, and he responded within the same day and told me to send it to him. I mailed the knife along with check to cover return shipping. He did not ask for the check, I included it since I have been rough with the knife and felt partly responsible for the wiggling blade.
I got an email from Mr. Wiseman about a week later saying the knife was done and giving me the tracking number for the package.
When I opened the package, I found a letter from Gene saying what he did to fix the knife. Also, the check that I sent him was in the box! He said that it was his problem, no money needed.
Now that is how you do business
