Good guy giveaway winners announced!

Over Kill did a give-a-way with multiple knives which I thought was awesome. The more winners, the merrier. Thanks for the chance!

Matt Markell (aka OzarkMatt) is awesome too. He gave me a piece of steel to make my first knife with out of the blue. It was an awesome introduction into this forum.

Guy Seiford from Survive! knives is going above and beyond by constantly keeping everyone updated about their preordered knives, and being very pleasant to deal with

+1 Richard J

He's a super nice guy who did great work and was fast to boot. He also basically gave me a 45 minute lesson over the phone about sharp things!! Great guy who really increased my knife knowledge early on.

I've had a lot of people give advice above and beyond what was asked to me and many another in the Makers forum, too many to name... I've seen a few guys randomly help out new makers with supplies before, too. That whole subforum is just full of amazing individuals.

Here's a list of a SMALL FEW of the great guys/girls here.
KnottyEagle, Seelow, Steel130, jhyde, jimw, Bobsig, BrentD86, Chris6464h, greeenie, nwmetalbug, of course Spark, the mods, and many, many, many others in this forum go above and beyond, but I want to mention 2 of them

First guy I want to mention is, Chester22, he is willing to sell his own grail knife, just because he likes to make others happy. We make a joke that he is the Kershaw TiLT adoption agency, because he buys them, and will sell them (at a great price) to people who want them. Great guy, I'm lucky enough to live by him, and vouch that he is probably one of the coolest guys you'll meet.

Second person I want to mention is 2 shot. 2shot is another stellar guy I've had the pleasure to do business with. He helped me accomplish my grail knife. I thought I'd have to wait until summer to buy one, but he sold me a BRAND NEW TiLT for a better price than I've seen used ones go for. He seems like a really cool dude, and I only wish that I could thank him in person for getting me my grail knife.

This is the only forum of any kind that I've stayed with for more than a month, it's not because of the subject matter, but because of the stellar community. In my 3 month life here, I've received two knives, at no cost, just because they felt like it, and to someone like me that they didn't personally know. Bladeforums is my second family, and I know many others that think the same way.

Thanks for the chance. I was tracking down a John Lloyd custom I had sold last year and found the last known owner. I PM'd him asking if he'd let me know if he were ever willing to sell it off again, and in response, he asked for my address, sent me not only the Lloyd but another slipjoint, and said we would work it out later. A true class act, woodysone!

Flymon sent me a GEC after I asked a question in traditional forums. (it really started off a traditional addiction for me).

I already have a Recon1, but have never had a Mora or a Vic.

Knifenutty.

This is a guy from Canada who doesn't have a ton of feedback (here) and (I hope he doesn't mind my saying) has had problems with trades and sales due to the low feedback and a general sense of unease that (understandably) permeates our exchange culture.

I wish for anyone searching his name to know that he is awesome and very much worthy of your trust. Just a great guy to deal with, and with his catalog of knives you'd be lucky to have him contact you! ;)

Great thread idea! There are sooo many other great people here that I've dealt with!

lobodelanoche :D Did a trade with him and his knife got lost in transit, went above and beyond to fix it and offer something else at no extra cost, even offered the full refund price for the knife I traded him, plus a Vic Huntsman lol

I want to give a big shout out to SteelYourFace! He really hooked me up, have not seen him on in a while but he is agreat guy.

* not in it to win it, just wanted to take this chance to give props.

Last year I got in on a giveaway held by member majigy and I got rat 1 folder 100% free! I payed it forward of course and gave it to my pops.

Flexx is one HELL of a guy !! Someone posted "Help" for a knife the guys daughter used as a can opener, the guy just wanted to know what he could do to clean up the edge of the blade & Flexx offered to send the guys daughter one of his signature stops & some compound "on him" so that the blade could be "cleaned up" That to me is a stand up hell of a helpfull guy !!
