Good Hatchet

CWM, I like your review. Matters have complicated a little. Your comparo was with the "old" husqvarna, which is now replaced by a "new" model without lugs. I agree the Fiskars is a good hatchet. If you do a lot of splitting, splinters will dig under the handle and eventually wear it off around the head. When that happens to mine, I will get a traditional hatchet.

I did a review here a few months ago that put the Wetterlings made Husqvarna Hatchet against the new Fiskars X7 and the Fiskars outchopped the Husky.
