This is just another confirmation among many here that Phil (Maprik) does outstanding work, is a perfectionist with tremendous patience, and is a pleasure to work with. I sent him my brand new ADV Mini-Butcher and a few emails and pics to convey a rough idea of what I had in mind. When it came time to work on my knife I was able to work with Phil directly to get exactly what I wanted. Phil was very patient and methodical, and communicated clearly and promptly. The result is gorgeous and a vast improvement over the appearance of the stock knife, which never thrilled me (I almost returned it to the vendor upon receiving it). The price was more than reasonable and Phil was a pleasure to work with. I will definitely give him more work in the future and would recommend him without reservation.
