Im looking to get some new inexpensive beater knives to just not have to worry about losing or breaking.. Im going to use them when i go out places where i can lose them or when i work. Suggest away, no assisted knives please, 3.5 inch preferred. Will be doing just random stuff im just not willing to buy expensive knives anymore, been there done that and they werent for me. Espically when you lose em or screw them up while your out. Looking for folders

I currently have a rat 1 tenacious and cara cara 2 so plz dont reccomend them.

What is wrong with the cheap ones you have? It seems like you have the cheap "beaters" the market provides unless you want to go with a SAK. They can still be had at great prices.

try a Kershaw Chill. Light and cheap. You can find them for $15 on Amazon and a little cheaper on eBay. I kind of wish I hadn't sold mine.

nothing wrong with what i got, just looking for a few more to have. just to use different things.

How about a CRKT Drifter? For $20 (give or take a few) you could pick up a few without breaking the bank.

I second the Chill.

Light. Nice long blade. Certainly not a chopper but easy to carry and deploy.

How about the Opinel?

It's low price, comes in many sizes, is sturdier than it seems, and it slices and dices way beyond it's weight class. And the are so light weight, you forget its in your pocket.

Did anybody mention the EL-01 yet?

Most of my suggestions have been mentioned, but I'll reiterate and add a few:

Modern: Enlan/Bee, SRM, Ganzo, Chinese Kershaws.

More of a classic flavor: Opinel, Mercator K55, Svord Peasant, Douk Douk, Okapi, Cold Steel Kudu.

$35 for a Kershaw Blur Blem, and you can remove the torsion bar to make a cheap, smooth, manual folder, made in the USA.

Inron my803 or a Kershaw Tremor jump to mind, since you already have some of the usual suspects (I'd say RAT-1 if you didn't already have it).

I second the Mercator.
