good inexpensive beaters?

Im looking to get some new inexpensive beater knives to just not have to worry about losing or breaking.. Im going to use them when i go out places where i can lose them or when i work. Suggest away, no assisted knives please, 3.5 inch preferred. Will be doing just random stuff im just not willing to buy expensive knives anymore, been there done that and they werent for me. Espically when you lose em or screw them up while your out. Looking for folders

I currently have a rat 1 tenacious and cara cara 2 so plz dont reccomend them.

Try a Kershaw Brawler.
I had one, was pretty nice. Comfortable, good flipper, assist was smooth, thumb stud was alright. A little play after a while but that can be remedied wby tightening and oiling.
It didnt come too sharp though.
No problem, just had to sharpen it.
Can be had for about $20.
Other suggestions:
Mercator K55 as I said before, Imperial Kamp King, Case Mini Trapper

deassisted does it have a detent?

Yes it does. A good enough detent to not open on its own. Has a pretty good detent actually. Makes a great manual folder. My beater/use it for everything knife/lender is a Kershaw Blur modded and deassisted.

another tenacious haha

Ontario RAT 1 excellent 30 dollar beater knife
Kershaw Tension is an excellent knife for the price, mix between the Tenacious and a Boker Mag. Bulldog I Kid you not

Out of these Smith and Wessons that I've got I recommend the bottom one. It's an HRT, but I'm not sure which. You'll have to look. You can get it at local stores that sell camping and exercising goods usually on sale for under 20 bucks.

It's actually a great flipper once it's broken in.

what about the smithand wesson hrt line up?? $15.00 each at lease that is what they are selling at the gun and knife shows local.

Here are some. RAT-1 on left included for comparison. The M21 and Vic OHT are just a little over $30 (but can be found on secondary markets for under). The Chinese knives are all under $15.

Left to right: Ontario RAT-1, CRKT Shenanigan, Victorinox One-handed Trekker, Buck Large Vantage, CRKT M21-12G, Enlan EL-01, Enlan EL-02, Enlan EL-04, Enlan EL-06, Bee L01

(The Vantage here is the Pro model. The Select model is under $30 and features 420HC steel instead of S30V and has FRN handles instead of G10.)

Left to right: RAT-1, Buck 110, Case Sodbuster, Svord Peasant, Opinel No. 12, Opinel No. 10, Opinel No. 9

(The 110 is the Bass Pro model. The regular model is around $30 and uses 420HC steel instead of CPM-154. The Opinel No. 10 is the one with corkscrew. The regular model doesn't have it.)

Opinel. Many sizes. Carbon or stainless.

Slicing demons and very easy to sharpen.

Cheap.

As others have mentioned the Enlan EL-02.It is one of my favorite cheap locking knives. As for non-locking knives I would recommend the SVORD mini peasant.Fixed blade,Becker/Kabar Bk-14. Oh yeah almost forgot the Ontario Utillatac 2, I like this one even more than my Rat1.

Fun thought. Maybe go browse the local flea market. Frost cutlery stuff should run you no more than $5. You might even stumble onto a good knife at a cheap price.

Enlan 901 +. It's a liner lock sebenza clone with g10 handles. I just got one and am amazed at the quality for what I paid. They upgraded to a sandvic still also
