Good inexpensive Coffee

Nothing but Folgers red for me

For ground coffee in a can thing, I'm fond of Foldgers Black Silk. The taste is rather unique, and exactly as they describe it on the label. I imagine it's one of those love/hate coffee's due to it's fairly strong flavor, I'll bet you like it though. Otherwise I prefer folder's columbian or whatever whole bean coffee I haven't tried out yet :D

A bit off topic, but I think French press is the most notable thing that separates US from UK English.

I can just imagine some European bloke showing off this new invention in the States:

"What is it?"
"It's a cafetière"
"A what?!"
"A cafetière"
"Stuff that; it shall now be known as a French pressy thingy"

:D

That is pretty funny and probably close to the truth. Far too mainly vowels and funny extra lines over the E to make any sense of cafetiere. :)

A neighbor of mine is Israeli and gifted me some standard issue Israeli army turkish coffee. I guess everybody is hooked on this stuff for life after they serve. I can see why. Its amazing and inexpensive. Ultra-fine ground and you just stir into your water and let settle outfor a couple minutes for a STEErong brew. Great camping coffee. comes in a pouch. Get some.

Ok, now I ordered a variety from there. I like strong coffee, and if it can be prepared over a campfire all the better.

Lately I have just been drinking the Folgers Black Silk- prepared with about 50% more grounds than recommended, but still never strong enough. I need to break down and buy an espresso machine.

Costco coffee beans. I think it's called Columbian Supremo or something. They've got a half dozen different ones.

I drink a lot of coffee, although I've never been into roasting/grinding at home. Folger's is pretty standard in my house, but sometimes I buy (and enjoy) Eight O'Clock or Savarin.

A few people have mentioned Dunkin Donuts coffee, which is great when it's on sale. It also makes a great gift.

I recently saw Entenmann's coffee on the shelf. It's pretty damned good, especially when paired with their cake.

Ok I will play .....

Cheap good tasting coffee.. thats local to me.

Eight O'Clock Bean. I get the whole bean regular or colombian and grind it myself.

Very Tasty for the price.
