I'm always up for learning and I've found a good resources for a few things. It's at the MIT website. Many of you have probably already looked at these videos but I just discovered them myself and have found the fascinating.

There's a whole series that might be useful. I've been watching the 'drilling' video and it's already been helpful.

FWIW MIT also has courses that are study at your own pace with a full syllabus posted with the required readings. There is no college credit associated, but a lot can be learned from those courses.
Most don't apply to what we do directly, but if you really want to understand what is going on inside the forge and what happens when hammer strikes steel, it isn't a bad place to start...
