Would anyone care to recommend some of the more reputable internet knife stores that I could buy a spyderco folder (Manix 83mm) from? I know that Spyderco sells direct at their websites but I think their prices are a bit high relative to what I have seen elsewhere. Much thanks for any help.

savsonswordsandknives, or gp knives.com, savson has free shipping over 125.00 so have fun

Both of those are pretty good dealers.

What part of Montana you live in?

Grand Prairie Knives... New Graham Pharmacy... Oso Grande Knives... One Stop Knife Shop... I've bought from all of them and never had a problem with any of them.

I live in the Gallatin Valley in SW Montana. I'll look at the dealers mentioned here and probably buy one pretty quick, done a lot of research so its just a matter of finding the dealer.
Thanks,
Nordolf

From time to time used ones pop up on here. Used can vary from taken out of the book to ogle and then put away, to used to baton through a log.

Some bad news on Savson: I recently read that many customers were having issues with no response back. That was a month ago so, I'm not sure if those issues have been resolved but I thought I'd just give everyone a heads up. As for my reccomendation: New Graham, they may not have the lowest prices but if I order on Monday I always receive a knife by Wednesday.

One more vote for New Graham, their price may not always be the lowest, but it's always darn reasonable, and their service is outstanding.

I recommend Knifeworks and Knifecenter. I've always been happy with the service from both!

I recommend New Graham Pharmacy, I went in there to get a refill on my oxycontin...JKidding....they have a nice display of knives. The two guys I talked with let me "touch" all the knives I wanted. Definitely no sales pressure! I was there for 3 hours and they must have been sick of opening the cases for me, when they finally let me use the key. Well, me and the son walked out with two BM's and we enjoyed the 4 hour drive home. Great folks.

New Graham is the nads. Great company! Bestknives.com has some outstanding prices and were very reliable the last time I did business with them. And last, but not least, 888knivesrus.com has excellent prices and will bend over backwards for their customers.
