I've had my Beast for about a year now (October 18th) and after a month or so of owning it, it developed some lock rock, very minor. He fixed it, and sent it back with a TSF hat last November. It started developing lock rock again as well as the lock bar being able to be pushed over far. With planning a wedding, having a wedding, moving I've just now gotten around to contacting him. I've continued to use the knife, but I figured I'd contact him today to see if he can fix it. Not only is going to fix it, he's going to change the washers over to bearings, as well as a few other things, free of charge. Words cannot describe what great guy he is. Since the day I ordered the knife, he has been a joy to work with. Very fast turn around time, quick response to emails. If you've ever thought about ordering one of his knives, go for it! He will take care of you.

Jim is gracious, conscientious, and generous. The best in the business. Good luck with everything.

Absolutely, TSF is a great outfit and I thoroughly enjoy using the beast (also one of the few knives I chose to retain after moving on to traditionals).

Jim has always treated me right as well. Do not hesitate in dealing with him. Oh and he makes a great knife too.

The Beast is one of 2 framelocks I kept after the sell off. I normally don't like metal handles, but this knife just works for me. Like my Kizer, it's warm weather only (May to September). I wish I could afford a Gorgon. Maybe in a year or two.

If you love the Beast, and you like large knives, you'll love the Gorgon.
