Good Knife for EDC??

what knife for edc would you suggest under 80 dollars?
:) Shop around a bit and you can find a Cold Steel folder with a Tri-ad lock and very good balanced steel for ~ $80 .

Really can't be beat for overall value , strength and reliability as a hard working EDC .:thumbsup::thumbsup:

American Lawman and many others . Depending on what you need and can legally carry . ;)

Opinel Number 6, 7, or 8 with your choice of a carbon steel or stainless steel blade.
I think there are a couple Number 8 models with a synthetic handle and a stainless steel blade.
SAK of your choice.
A Stockman (3 blades)
A Barlow (2 blades)
A Canoe (2 blades)
Buck 110/112 or one of their "modern" knives that calls to you.
Case Sod Buster.

All of these are well under your $80 budget*

* Unless you get a GEC Stockman, or Barlow.
I don't know if GEC has made a canoe pattern recently.

BladeHQ has the Kershaw Launch 2 for $70 if you can carry an auto. CPM-154 steel.

Why not try a fixed blade? I usually have a Morris Peewee on me. If you're going to be cutting open bags of concrete, Svord peasant knife all the way.

Buck 112 Ranger Slim Pro, Manly Wasp in either Sandvik or s90v. What are your uses and where do you plan to use it? You are going to get a lot of answers, but it will narrow your search if you can narrow it down.
