Good knife manufacturer to make a small batch of knives?

I'm looking for a good manufacturer to make a model I have in mind I'm thinking of having maybe 20 or 50 knives made. The design is pretty simple, no handle needed. Its a pretty sweet idea and I'm sure people would like it, would sell well for sure.
I guess USA made would be pretty expensive compared to China but I'm open to suggestions.
Anyone has any company name worth considering, in China or elsewhere? At least a name to start asking around?
With so many knife enthusiasts you'd think companies that make models by request would be easier to find.
