Good knife under 300.00

Great ideas so far guys. I like folders, fixed blades and traditionals. I have about 5 fixed blades and maybe 6 traditionals. Keep the ideas coming!!! Do I need any more knives? No. Do I want more? Absolutely haha!

Alright. Tell her to go here immediately and buy it (in D3V); let her pick the scale color :) https://carothersknives.com/product/kephart/

Such a unique and useful knife .... and will only appreciate in value.

Microtech Ultratech otf
Winkler Contingency fixed
Used Chris Reeve Inkosi (maybe a stretch $)

Like me, you seem to like a bigger knife.

I'm guessing since you have no auto's listed that automatic knives are a no-no where you live?
Like gamma_nyc gamma_nyc was thinking in Microtech, if those are legal, that would be an obvious hole to fill in your collection.

You didn't mention a multi-tool or if you are interested in one. Maybe a Leatherman Charge+ TTi? $170

Buck 110 from the Buck custom shop?
KW exclusive Ritter RSK MK1-G2

I would lurk the auction site, add a few filters to get near to what you want, then start scrolling. Half an hour ought to get you a list of half a dozen, and it's possible you can find something that's normally way higher than $300.

Just make sure you read carefully. Lots of fakes over there, in addition to actual random good deals.

The world is your oyster at this price point! Sticking only to knives I've owned and loved: consider the ZT 0562 and 0562TI, Pro-Tech Malibu, and Microtech Socom Elite (if you can find one).

I'm ruthless about pruning my collection and keeping it lean. Only owning a Hinderer XM-18 kept me from keeping the 0562; I still own the Malibu and Socom. :)

You can still get some good Great Eastern Cutlery models for under $300, multi blade too.

Yes I do like bigger knives. Im trying to appreciate smaller knives though.

You said you had traditionals. Do you have some modern traditionals?

Maybe a traditional knife with M390 and micarta or wood handles? Heck, you could almost buy two and still a few dollars leftover to take the wife to Taco Bell :p

Most of my traditional knives are old ones. Yeah that's something to consider. Like a Bestman or something.

Freeman 451 button lock folder, various options under at and over 300 with D2 and S45VN. They've got cerakoted blades though. I'm waiting for the next drop to pick one up in full Ti and 45vn.

GiantMouse Ace Grand, any version. Great knife at a great price.
