Good: Knifecorral on eBay

EDIT: I would like to amend my first post, as I have been unfair to knifecorral. I would like to say that, although they did raise the price of the product right after I showed interest in it, I received excellent customer service and we worked out a deal. They truly are a mom and pop store, and have been selling knives for a long time. I plan to continue to support this company.

Knifecorral is a dealer on eBay. I inquired about the condition of a "new" knife because there appeared to be some marks on the blade. I asked if they would consider offers/lower price, and if the blade was centered. The responded that they could not lower the price and that the knife was new, with no other details about the marks on the blade or centering. THEN they raised the price from $375 to $450. I found this very frustrating as it put this grail knife out of my budget.

I would call them, communicate your desire to buy.
 
Thank you for this recommendation. I called them and realized I was a bit careless and jumped the gun a bit in posting "Bad." I had assumed I was dealing with a huge company fronting as "mom and pop" that didn't care about customer service. I talked with a very nice woman, the owner I believe. While she did raise the price intentionally, she was willing to meet in the middle and I purchased the knife. She was very pleasant to talk with. I still think it was odd to up the price right after I inquired about it, but I REALLY appreciate the conversation we had. I will switch the title to "Good" as I feel knifecorral does not deserve the bad review.
