Good Knives on a Budget

If you have the collecting bug, I think Kershaw is the best company for a person with a low budget. They produce a lot of really nice designs with great fit and finish. They do not use premium steels for their cheaper models and most are made offshore. Even many of the more expensive USA models use Sanvik steel that is easy to sharpen and very rust resistant, but much cheaper than "premium steels." If you want to stay under $80, or even if you want to stay under $30, Kershaw is great company to follow.

Let’s face it. The country is facing hard economic times and not all of us can afford knives that cost $100+ dollars, yet still enjoy collecting knives. Try as I may, I could not find a thread that talked about good knives that were in my affordability range.

I can spend an upward of 60 dollars a month to buy a good knife. Is there any good knives in my affordability range or will I have to save up to buy a good knife?

or you can save up $60 a month, until you have set aside enough money to buy a 'good knife'. :D

Spyderco Dragonfly 2

There's so much worthy cutlery under $60.

I see tons of threads talking about you're price range. Cheaper high quality knives are one of the most popular topics on this forum.

You have a large amount of knives to choose from. There hasn't been so many budget friendly knives out there with the kind of quality offered ever!

Kershaw, Columbia river knife and tool, spyderco, ka bar, and so on all have killer options.

Go get a skyline or cryo. Also check out the KaBar Dozier.

Do any Titanium handle, tiger striped S30v blades, waved and assisted, tactical knives that weigh under 2.5oz cost less then $60? Hopefully one with a skull bead lanyard...
