I want a large heavy duty fixed blade. Used for alot of camping and hunting, otherwise for my collection because I want it.
So far I have come up with these; Bark River Bravo 1 in 3v, Fallkniven f1, ESEE 5, Swamp ratmandu cg, Maybe Busee TGLB?
I would be open to recommendations outside of these knives, or why I should choose one of those knives over the other.
My budget is around $300...I dont think I want to go into customs, but I might look into it.
Thanks everyone!

Those are all respected knives. At that budget, you're well into custom territory and can get exactly what you want.

Haha, you already belted out what most of us would suggest! I agree with James, go ahead and get a custom if that's your price range. Or, anything from Nocturnal Knives. Good luck breaking one of those.

Eh, I have not yet delved into the world of customs. I have heard some good stories and bad stories about customs. Besides, the production blades are well tested ahead of time by people who probably use the knives for more than I ever will.
Nocturnal knives look a little bit too tactical for me...But I do like the idea of a thick well made 3v blade.

Anything from Smith Hand Forged Knives is beautiful and functional. He's in South Africa, so his prices look scary because they're in a different currency. The exchange rate is 1 USD=10.

You've already listed BRKT, so I'll just put in a good word for their CPM 3V. You're thinking about a larger FB than I usually carry, but my Northstar EDC is in their 3V and it's really made me love that steel, even on a small FB when it needs to be really tough.

If you can get one (only 75 were made) go for a Bark River Sahara. That beast is a huge slab of metal with a vicious grind. I like it more than my Bravo

The Survive GSO knives are good for what you are looking to do with them . You can check their site for specs , but right now except for the GOS 4.1 you'd have to check the secondary market for a GSO 5 , 5.1 , 6 , or the 7-7 . Nice knives made from CPM 3V

You could always browse the knife maker's for sale area. You'll find exactly what you want, I'm sure.

TGLB is the "best" all-rounder. A smidge above your price range though.

Actually its R11 to $1 now, so definitely an attractive proposition if you have dollars to spend!
