First 40 minutes is a brief historical overview of some old popular models and lore. From there he explains his new venture, Lynn Thompson Tactical Knives. Little to none EDC or fidget knives, it will mainly concentrate on fighting knives and a few other things. He admits maybe he shouldn't have sold CS, but he was just done with the toil of running a big company.

Absolutely awesome video with some fantastic historical elements! I am very excited by Lynn's return to the knife industry, especially with his focus on the production of new tactical knives. That's where he's always held my interest/fixation, and I look forward to what he has in store. The man's knowledge of knives and knife fighting is peerless.

In many ways and for many reasons, I also wish that Lynn hadn't sold Cold Steel. Hopefully the new company will retain the best of what Cold Steel represented in a streamlined format. Maybe we'll even get physical catalogs again (a man can dream, can't he?!).
