Good News, my wife just called to say that I just got a long box from Busse! WooHoo, my Rucks are here!! :D

Bad News, the postman simply left the box on our front porch!!

I called Amy, she was not amused. It will be interesting to see how the USPS reports this delivery without a signature.

That's awesome!
Mine are still en route

That sucks! :thumbdn:
Is it just that the postman is just to lazy to ring the bell? Or that he'd rather leave it than make a return trip?

Already checking on it:thumbup:

I am just glad that YOU got them (Thank Goodness) I am gonna have to "BRING IT"

My LEFBM and Crash Rat were both left in my front door. I've had to pick everything else up at the post office.

My FBMLE was delivered last week without a signature. Sort of suprised that no signature was needed knowing the cost of what was in the box. Maybe it is just shipped "Delivery Confirmation", but no signature...

Two SR HR-LMs were just left on my porch this past week. Maybe my cat signed for them.

On the other hand, my last sheath shipment from Dwayne required a signature. It did have a Busse fillet knife in there, so I was glad of the sig requirement.

Seems like the USPS workers are inconsistent at best.

All my packages from Busse have only had "Delivery Conformation" on them which doesn't require a signature, so unless they were sent "Insured" or with a "Signature Required", the package doesn't require a signature!

Great news on the Ruck, you'll love it.

Regarding the USPS check the following threads for some disturbing info regarding how they do not always do their job http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=458838

I am starting a list of people that I have shipped to that have not had to sign for their insured packages and I'll be submitting it to someone, it may do no good but I'm fed up with it.

GO BULLY GO:thumbup:

ERIC ROCKS

Same with our postage over here.
They left a $2000 box sitting at my front door for everybody to grap.
It was already payed for and I'm pretty sure they would have refused to pay if it was lost.
I almost got a heart attack when I came home.

I had to sign for the last box I got from Busse. My small town PO folks are pretty good. As a matter of fact I have told them from time to time it is OK to leave something if I know it is coming. If I don't answer the door, they take it back and I have to go to the PO and get it.

Congrats on the Rucks!!

Can't wait to see your pics:thumbup:

I really thought that, if something is insured over a certain amount, it automatically requires a signature.

True? If so, anyone know this amount?

Now ya got wondering. I didn't sign for my FBM either. We have a large gang set of maiboxes for individual mail and a couple of big bins for stuff that won't fit in the other boxes. And that's where I found my package. At least all the boxes have individual keys and the postman puts the key to the bin in your slot.

Come to think of it my FBMLE was left between the front door and the screen door. Wife was home for a few hours before she checked for mail.

I thought signature confirmation came with insurance. I don't think they'd want to pay because they left a package in the open and it was stolen.

If it is insured for over $100 dollars (blue insurance form, anything lower is green) a signature is required, this is not optional, you can not waive the signature.
