Sorry to hear of your loss.

It's never easy to put a pet down.
 
Very sorry to hear it. My Shepard just turned 15 and although he still eats and goes out on his own, he is near the end. This fall I had to put down my Ridgeback because of an awful neurological condition that she had. I cried for days. Try to take comfort in your memories of your friend. The pain will ease but the memories will stay strong.

There are so many abused and just basically neglected, yours was loved...thats all they really desire out of life.

i didnt walk the dogs that morning. my Dad did. his buck 301 folded on him. when i went out there i wanted to gut that dog something fierce. but i held back. it went to animal control and they put it down after the owners didnt come forward.

Matt sorry to hear this, I lost my 15 year old "Baby Girl" mutt last Wednesday 12/30 so I know what you are going through. Keep strong and thank the Lord for the time you had together.
 
Very sorry to hear about your loss. As a fellow GSD owner, they are some of the most loving and committed dogs you can ever hope to own. My heart goes out to you during this difficult time.
