Good Production Locking Folders w/Carbon Steel Blades?

What are some good production locking folders that have carbon steel blades?

Any particular style of knives? If your looking for traditional knives, Queen, Case, GEC and others all make locking folders with carbon steel blades.

Benchmade uses a lot of D2 which is technically a carbon steel. The Spyderco Gayle Bradley uses CPM M4 and is a great knife, especially considering the price.

I think it's a bit misguided to as a question that pretains to 80% of the knives used primarially by users of the forum.
All steels contain some amount of carbon and most all modern "tactical" style knives (Spyderco, Benchmade, Kershaw) use some type of locking mechanism.

The OP probably specified locking because many slipjoints use carbon steel in the blades. As for the other point, do you really think anyone browsing a knife forum won't understand the shorthand use of carbon steel?

Yes... >_>
I've been around the internet a bit, some people... you never know. Anyway, good point.

Spyderco has two good ones - Gayle Bradley with CPM-M4, and the Caly 3.5 with Super Blue. My Gayle Bradley has only a slight patina (not much food use), but my Caly 3.5 has a really nice patina from fruit. Both are good steels.

For traditional folders, Great Eastern has some locking folders (both backlock and linerlock) with 1095 blades. Their knives are high quality, too.

Modern one hand opening knife... Hey does the Buck custom shop offer the 110 in high carbon or tool steels?

D2 is a carbon steel that is used by many of the big name manufacturers. Kershaw, Spyderco, Benchmade etc...

Moore Maker sells some modern lightweight one-handers with 1095 carbon steel.

Also, Boker makes some bone-handled folders with carbon.

Spyderco Caly 3.5 with Aogami Super Blue steel. Sprint run but I think a few are still available.

Do you want carbon steel or just non-stainless steel? And if not carbon steel, high alloy or low alloy? The only one handed carbon steel folder with a clip that I can think of is the Moore Maker Roper.

Check out the Queen model 3LASCB "Mountain Man", Also still available in Curly Zebra handles (3LCZ). Blade steel is D2.

Check out the GEC # 72 Lockback in 1095 carbon steel.

Doesn't Ron Flaherty use A2 tool steel on his folders? I know they are hard to get becuase they last just a minute or teo on the exchange but they sure look like nice locking folders to me.
