Which begs the question, what gear would old Nessmuk carry if he were alive today? Times have sure changed -- would his gear selections change too?

I've thought of that as well. For me, a four inch fixed blade, small folder (usually a Griptillian), a Wetterlings 19" axe and a Bahco folding saw will do everything I need in the woods.
