Good, relatively inexpensive kitchen knife?

thank you, all. In lieu of actually deciding to purchase a dedicated kitchen knife, i've ordered a new Spyderco Moran from hornet (Kirk Kotthoff) in the forums. Dealing with him has been excellent...shipped just when he said it would.

FWIW;
Almost all of the butchers in my area use the Foreshner knives. I sold about 36 of them to one butcher alone....they all swear by them. They come shaving sharp and they are not expensive.
I have Henckles but 4stars and am a little disappointed how they do not hold a very good edge, however, my wife DOES abuse her kithcen knives so maybe they arn't so bad after all.
I have 3 of the Spydercos and love them in the kitchen.
My next buy WILL BE the Fallknivens!!!!
