good scissors

Hi everybody.
I'm looking for a good pair of scissors made with zdp-189, cowry, hitachi, sgps or any good steel.
Does anybody knows any brand making them?

Is there any particular application you need exotic scissors for? I'm a professional artist, use scissors all the time and have never found a good pair of Fiskars scissors lacking in any respect. They get dull or otherwise crapped out, you toss 'em and buy a new pair.

Why having good knives and not good scissors?
I need the scissors for cutting ropes, cardboard, jeans and many other things.

A friend of ours who owned a hair salon in London, England once showed me a pair of stylist's scissors that cost $2,000. retail. I shook my head in disbelief...the same way people shake their heads when I pull out my $1,200 Mnandi to open an envelope.
